From the start, we created Tula Blue as a purpose-driven jewelry brand that was much more than fashion. Our uncompromising values guide us to create eco-friendly necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and earrings spun from rope that are both socially and environmentally sustainable. From our packaging to our production processes and our materials to our charity bracelets, Tula Blue strives to be ethical and eco-friendly in everything we do.

USING OUR PLATFORM FOR GOOD

We are in it for the greater good and believe we are all stronger together.  We support social and environmental causes making a difference with our collection of charity jewelry. We also contribute a proceed of our profits to mental health, education, social, and ocean conservation causes.

We’ve created many different charity bracelets that give back to the causes we feel passionate about. We started Tula Blue inspired by our founder, Heather, and her love for the ocean, to create jewelry that can save the ocean. And we are thrilled to do just that. Our jewelry saves the ocean by being environmentally conscious – including plastic-free packaging, by being created from sustainable materials and natural pearls and stones with zero-byproducts or waste, and most importantly, by benefiting charities that support ocean conservation.

Tula Blue has partnered with PADI and PADI AWARE, the world’s largest purpose-driven scuba diving company, to save the ocean. The Seven Seas Bracelet donates 10% of the proceeds to ocean conservation, because we know every effort matters – and together we can save the oceans.

Tula Blue has also recently created a charity bracelet to help those affected by mental health challenges. Thoughtfully chosen stones and pearls help remind you to love and take care of yourself – with 10% of the proceeds supporting NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.

Our artisans string up our hand-spun rope with eco-friendly and natural materials that come from our planet. There are no toxic byproducts or chemicals created during our assembly process. We also have very little waste as we reuse every last piece of our handcrafted rope. Our waterproof and nautical grade rope is crafted to stand the test of time and can be worn in all the elements. No fast fashion here, your Tula Blue is truly adventure ready, and you can wear it for years to come - proving that jewelry can be sustainable.

We believe that sustainability is only achieved when it’s a balance of both environmental and social sustainability, and we strive to support our community of creators as well as the Tula Blue tribe of those passionate about what we make, sharing the same values we do.

We are women-owned and provide opportunities for advancement, employment, and growth to those who may not otherwise have the same chance. We’ve created a community based on unconditional support for one another, kindness, and acceptance. It’s the very same ethos we instill into our brand and all our creations. 

We have two workshops in North Padre Island and Austin Texas and employ about 20 women from the local communities, who weave together friendship and charity jewelry that is meant to be gifted and reminds us all to be kind to ourselves, kind to one another, and kind to the planet we all love to explore.
